In-house PVD (physical vapour deposition) finishing on stainless steel and brass in champagne gold, gold, rose gold and silver: a hard, non-tarnishing finish for furniture frames, cladding, screens, handles and hardware.

PVD deposits a thin, hard metallic layer onto polished or brushed stainless steel and brass under vacuum. Unlike electroplating or lacquer, the finish does not peel or tarnish, resists fingerprints and cleaning chemicals, and keeps its colour indoors for years. HOPE applies PVD in-house to the metalwork it fabricates, so the polish, the coating and the assembly are controlled by one team.
Colours offered are champagne gold, gold, rose gold and silver, on mirror, brushed or satin bases. Samples on the actual base finish are approved with the designer before production; the finishes guide explains how the colours read under different lighting.

FAQ
Questions about finishes
Is PVD better than gold plating or lacquer?
For interiors, yes: PVD is harder, does not peel, and does not tarnish, so it suits handles, counters and cladding that are touched and cleaned daily.
Can you PVD-coat parts I supply?
We prioritise metalwork we fabricate, because surface preparation decides the result. Supplied parts are considered case by case after inspection.
Which colours are available?
Champagne gold, gold, rose gold and silver on mirror, brushed or satin bases. Samples are provided for approval.
Does PVD work outdoors?
Under cover, yes. For fully exposed exterior use we advise 316 stainless with a brushed finish or powder coating instead.
